This entry level course introduces students to the basic principles of drinking water treatment and distribution systems, processes and operations. In addition, the course is designed to prepare students for the State of Maine Very Small Water System (VSWS) and Class I Treatment and/or Distribution operator certification exams.

This course will utilize the ACR Introduction to Small Water Systems textbook available for purchase ($60.00 each) through ACR Publications www.acrp.com, 916-283-8502.

Recommended course prerequisite: Basic Math Review and Practice.
